This course explores the set-up, counterweight ratios, fall protection, operation, and inspection of suspended scaffold platforms. Students that successfully complete the course and exam will be issued a certificate from the SAIA that will be valid for 3-years from the class date.
A grade of 70% or better is required for passing. The entire class should last approximately 8 hours with a break for lunch. The hands-on portion of the class will require you to erect & dismantle frame scaffold components in various designs. Please come to class with proper attire, hard hats, gloves, and work boots. Tools will be provided for your use in the class. All course materials are copy-written by the Scaffold Access Industry Association, so any copying of materials is forbidden
